I have a project for you. How do I proceed?


First, you will have to contact me via the 'Contact' section of this website, or simply email me at methyss.art@gmail.com. I encourage any potential client to include a brief of the desired book cover. If the project suits my skill set and schehdule, I'll send you a detailed form to complete, and we'll estimate the cost.




How much does a custom cover cost?


A custom cover starts at $450 and goes up according to complexity. Please visit the 'SERVICES' section for more details about rates and available packags.. An exact quote will be given to you once I accept the project and I know all the details of your request.




What's the turnaround for a custom cover design?


The average turnaround time is between 2-3 days to a week, depending on complexity. Some projects can be finished faster, while some require a higher amount of details, thus, more time of completion is needed. My client will be promptly informed of the status of the project, and I'll make sure to meet your deadline.

I have ordered an eBook cover from you. Can I add a paperback?


Yes. The paperback can be added at any time from your purchase. I will require some information for this: page count, trim size and page color if you publish with Amazon. If you are using another publisher (such as IngramSpark, Lulu, etc.), you'll be responsible of downloading a template and emailing it to me. The costs of paperback add-ons are detailed on the Services section.




What's your availability?


I'm usually booked several months in advance, but if you are interested in getting on my schedhule, simply fill the Contact form with a short brief of your request, and I will contact you as soon as possible. If we are working on an on going project, I will usually answer via email as soon as I see it. The client will recieve proofs with my work in progress and will always be able to receive feedback. I prefer email correspondence, as social media is not always reliable.




What Genres do you work with?


My artworks usually fall into the fantasy/dark fantasy realm, but I am open to any kind of project if it fits my skillset.




What's your workflow?


Once I accept to create a book cover for a client, we will exchange some emails to estabilish the terms and a timeline in which the project will take place. The client will be given a form to complete, as well as a Contract to sign. The form is very important, as it gives me an idea of what the requirements are. The client will be informed of the cost, timeline and workflow prior to the job start. Once the project starts, I always give Work in Progress proofs, stock options and I will work with the client towards archiving the best result.




How do you take payment?


I accept payments via PayPal only. For booking, you are asked a booking fee of $50. This $is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total cost of the cover. I currently do not accept payment plans for commission work, but you can enquire about 50% payment before and 50% after payment option. What's your Refund Policy?


The Client is eligible for a full refund if I am not able to complete the project for any reason, at the given time. If someone chooses to cancel a booking before the job starts, the booking fee ($50) will serve as cancellation fee.
